Anne Patton, Director

Anne is the parent of a 39 year old man with autism, Chris. Together they fought for Chris to be included in every sense of his educational journey. Though non-speaking, Chris types to communicate and writes beautiful poetry which aided him in his school work. Their advocacy and work for social justice enabled Chris to travel to Ireland with his school group, and to create his own business selling tshirts with his poetic sayings on him. This business came about as a product of his senior project in high school.

Many youth do not have the opportunity to live a fully inclusive life, dreaming their own dreams and the ability to create a meaningful life for themselves. To this end, Anne created a Program Approved Service Agency (PASA) in 2014 to help Chris achieve this kind of life. This is a better life llc.

Anne’s background in banking, financial management, advocacy and supportive disability services provides the web of knowledge necessary to make a better life llc the unique, inclusive and flexible structure that gives Chris opportunity to grow in all the ways he wants, while advancing community for all the people he touches in life.
